Monday - Tasman Peninsula

Today we explored some nearby hikes. First was the Remarkable Cave.  The dead seal was a stinky downer, but the rock formation was stunning.  Then we hiked to the Blowhole: a deep crevice cut by waves.  On this hike we were the most South, and if the world was flat we could have seen Antarctica.  After lunch at a Lavender Farm, we hiked the Coal Mine Historic Park.  Who might have worked this Mine?  Convicts of course! So in addition to the replica mine, and spooky air shaft, the ruins of the main settlement include small convict cells and even smaller isolation/punishment cells like we have seen elsewhere in TAS.  Dinner was at a Tutor styled English Pub.  The Fox and Hound.
