Plevyaks in Bali

We had a morning flight from the Singapore airport to Chiang Mai.  taking full advantage of the full service nature of our hotel, we asked them to picked us up at the airport, have lunch waiting, and provide a car and driver to show us some of the temples in the old town.  It was very efficient and luxurious - only the best when traveling with Gene!  For dinner we enjoyed a cultural performance.  The following day, we visited Doi Suthep and a Hmong village.  The afternoon was set aside for homework and pool lounging.

We had an amazing week with Candy and Gene.  By the weekend we were ready to go further afield. Next week the school is off for 3 days for Galungan.  So Friday, we we grabbed the bags and stole grandpa Gene away to Thailand!  The flight was delayed so our sleepover in the Singapore Transit Hotel was cut short, but we are ready for another adventure!
